  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

   

  • Operate steel machines to remove rust/slag and other unwanted properties from metal parts
  • Safely and efficiently use blasting and cleaning techniques in the preparation of surfaces for coating
  • Act in accordance with applicable practices, policies, and procedures, when blasting
  • Must utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when blasting, as directed
  • Must maintain all equipment in good working condition
  • All other duties as assigned
